From the 1980’s until today, the Association of Agricultural Cooperatives of Halkidiki: :

• is involved with the subsidies to agricultural products (at the past the Association was also involved with the subsidies of olive oil, edible olives and plots, while from 2006 the Association is also occupied with the unified support scheme). The Association helps approximately 11.000 producers of the prefecture of Halkidiki.
  
  
  
• undertakes and implements projects of the Ministry of Agricultural Development such as the farmers’ registry and the olive crop registry (applications for changes).
  
  
  
• offers accounting services to the member agricultural associations.
  
  
  
• is also an insurance agent employed by the Cooperative and Agricultural Insurance Company.
